May 7, 2024 Susquehanna walks off to Landmark berth In a play-in game Susquehanna needed extras to defeat Drew to earn the final spot in the Landmark four-team double elimination tournament. They were not the only team to save their season with an extra inning win. John Jay needed an extra inning to advance to play CCNY in the CUNYAC finals.
March 2, 2023 Eastern, Hamline get first wins on Thursday Hamline picked up their first wins of the season playing at a neutral field and Eastern notched their first win on their spring trip. Gwynedd Mercy, John Jay, Mass-Boston, Mitchell, New England College, TCNJ and Westminster (Pa.) also earned win number on on the season.
August 11, 2022 LaBranche hired at John Jay Matt LaBranche has been hired as John Jay's new head coach, school officials announced. LaBranche joins the Bloodhounds with over 25 years of experience with his most recent head coaching experience at Eastern Connecticut State.
April 6, 2022 NCBWA hands out weekly honors The no-hitters keep coming in NCAA Div. III, this time with a pitcher in the CUNYAC firing one. A four-home run week and a 10-for-18 showing rounded out this week’s NCBWA Div. III honors. The sixth selections in 2022 were chosen based on games March 28-April 3.
April 2, 2022 No-hitter gives John Jay a Saturday sweep Sophomore Ismael Tatis was the star of the day, tossing a no-hitter as John Jay extended its win streak to three games on Saturday afternoon with a doubleheader sweep of Valley Forge down in Pennsylvania.
March 26, 2022 North Central gets first wins, Averett wins on senior day North Central (Minn.) earned a pair of wins on Saturday, their first of the season. John jay also scored their first win of the season. In Danville, Virginia, Averett celebrated their seniors with a shutout win on their home diamond.
